It's worth every penny of it. The insulation upgrade I paid included the garage exterior wall. I especially like how my garage stays cool in hot summer days when my neighbors had to leave their garage gate open for ventilation.

They probably mislabeled the price for Plan 1 and Plan 2. My guess is Plan 1 starting at $819,900 Plan 2 starting at $835,900 But i could be wrong...

Agree with daedalus. Home price to income ratio in major eastern asian cities are a lot higher than major US cities. Property price here is still considered cheap to FCB's. DTIs in families living in major eastern asian cities are also high. So don't under-estimate the amount of debt potential...

:) yeah, i am just speculating. I always thought that comparable sales are the most important part of assessing current market value. I am not suggesting anyone to buy and flip close-by resales right now. What I usually see is that the higher new home price gradually lifts the price for resales...

With Sheldon asking for these prices and actually getting them, i suppose the resale listings will start hiking their asking prices also? So maybe this is a good time to snatch up the resale before Sheldon comparable shows up after COE in December?
