Mine in the kitchen went out after about 3 years. Moen has a lifetime warranty on parts. Just give them a call and have them send you a new one free of charge. It was super easy to replace. Took less than 5 minutes. Youtube it. It might be the hard water in socal.

I'm thinking of buying a deionizer to rinse my car and achieve a spotless rinse. The resin runs out faster if you have extremely hard water. So I was curious if any of you fellow members have used a deionizer and if so, any issues with the life of your resin?
