How can scenic locations that are off limits be called "open space"?  Isn't that "closed space"?  I wish open space were exactly that, space that's open to the public, not closed off and roped off without access.

is the drinking/smoking at the stonegate community pool or just in general?  I see cigarette butts and empty beer cans left behind all the time in community areas and just don't understand why some smokers and drinkers leave butts and beer cans on the ground for other people to clean up instead...

At these high prices you should at least have the grand entrance experience and neighborhood walkability of the original plan.  It is clear as day once you get through the main entrance that somebody at TIC thought buyers were stupid and wouldn't notice the walls and walls and penny pinching...

I think South County has much easier access to Irvine than Yorba Linda.  We looked at homes in Yorba Linda but it feels like a long way south through residential streets to the 91, then a long way through the 55 down to either the 5 south to Irvine or the 405 south to Irvine.  Plus it didn't...

Student loan debt is probably one of the worst kinds of debt imaginable, since it isn't dischargeable in bankruptcy and lenders can add fees and penalties with impunity, so they are making a bad situation even worse.  Lots of student loan horror stories out there on the internet.

I took my relatives around Irvine and in some of the neighborhoods with houses on lots that seemed big and spacious and well landscaped to me (an Irvine resident), my relatives said, wow, what small lots.  I'm wondering if the density that TIC is going with isn't going to come back and bite them...

plus the redfin listing shows the location of this property as being in Northwood next to the Zion Korean market, so lots of errors on this listing...bad broker bad broker!

I don't know if it's changed, but a couple of years ago we tried to see open houses in Shady and were turned down by the guard because we needed to contact the open house agent to get on the list at the gate before going to the open house and other people also confirmed that was the gate...
