It's already been done, sort of. <a href="http://boingboing.net/2008/10/02/hustler-producing-sa.html">Link.</a>

Quote from a NR article.

In trying to resurrect conservatism and the Republican party, I fear there?s a whole segment of our country we can never reach. These people, whether rich or poor, are not our natural constituents. These are the people to whom things are owed.

We saw it after the Katrina debacle, at the other end of the socioeconomic scale: ?Why are you so slow to help us? Where is our money and food? Why haven?t you been here, government, rebuilding my house? I know my rights, and my rights include welfare, subsidies, support, and attention. We?re not to be treated like those victims of tornadoes in the Midwest who pull themselves together, help their friends, patrol their communities, and rebuild their neighborhoods. No, life is supposed to be easy, big and easy; why aren?t you here right now with the support I deserve?? And we hear it from the fat financial community who want the bailout check left at their door while they go on rich retreats to celebrate their good fortune.

This, by the way, is why Sarah Palin was so refreshing and, to be clear, so exotic to all the elites: a woman who could raise herself up by dint of hard work and self-sacrifice to be a wife, mother, mayor, and governor. She didn?t do it by set-asides, by birth, by quotas, or by handouts. She did it as a woman and she did it by her efforts. She exemplified what we all once saw as America?a land of opportunity, where you could be anything you set your mind to be so long as you worked for it. She showed us something about both her character and ours, our old-fashioned American character. For all this, she had to be ridiculed?she represented a kind of American virtue that shames the privileged, whether they be rich or poor.

As I read that quote, I pictured the author candy coating a turd.

I know McCain lost the election as soon as he picked Palin. However, her lack of qualifications for the VP slot should not diminish her other accomplishments. Than again I tend to like pretty, athletic, smart, ambitious women.

On the other hand, I have often wondered how Irvinites would have responded int he face of a Katrina type crisis. Call me crazy but I think at the very least a lot fewer people would have been RAPED. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=5063796

Troopergate is back! And it takes down the Alaska AG:

Anyone can offer her anything and you post it like it is some sort of snippet of her character.....

I'm offering Obama $10 bux to jump off the pier in HB......why is that not national news??? IT"S THE SAME THING that you just posted.......</blockquote>

Because you only offered $10 bucks, while Palin was offered $2 Mil.

[quote author="jhammons01" date=1235484868]Same exact principle.

The Dollar figure is purely inconsequential as the Governor would consider the $2m just as my $10 fell short of the target.

The Difference here is......get ready for it......the difference here is the concerted effort from the left to destroy Palin.

This "offer" is no more news worthy than my BM yesterday Morning.......but whatever.....</blockquote>

Ok I'll beef it up for ya. You offered 10 bucks for Obama to jump off a pier or whatever it was. Palin was offered 2M to do a porn scene.

That's why your offer didn't make national news.

I know, I know, I already broke my own rule tonight, but we all know "wrestle with a pig..."

She is at it again she took a trip to NY just so she could be on Letterman.

I wonder if the someone made comments about Michelle Obama or the Obama's daughters like Letterman made about Palin and her family what the public reaction would be.

Love Letterman always liked him more then Leno but the Slutty comment and the daughter getting knocked up by Arod was pretty classless.

<strong><blockquote>One awkward moment for Sarah Palin at the Yankee game, during the seventh inning, her daughter was knocked-up by Alex Rodriguez. </blockquote></strong>

I would be pissed off if that were my daughter he was talking about.

Contessa Brewer from MSNBC proves just how biased the media is with her interview of John Zieglar.

<object width="325" height="250"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/youtube" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="325" height="250"></embed></object>

Contessa doesn't mind being called Slutty evidently. Most of the women I know would throw a drink in your face or slap you if you called them a slut. Contessa doesn't get upset about that I wonder why?

Palin is open game. And when she preaches Abstinence while her unwed teenage daughter

has a child. Thats a bigger outrage than being the brunt of a joke on a "Late Night"

TV programs Monologue. I still cant believe John McCain was so stupid as to have her

as his running mate. The poor Republican Party just keeps losing at every turn.

<blockquote>Palin is open game.</blockquote>

I think refering to a womans look as slutty, even if it is true, is quite insulting. But if you insist that it ok becuase she is open game that is fine.

What about his comment about Arod knocking up her teenage daughter in the 7th inning?

<blockquote>And when she preaches Abstinence while her unwed teenage daughter

has a child. Thats a bigger outrage than being the brunt of a joke on a "Late Night"

</blockquote>

I do not think Abstinence is the only way to teach birth control. However with my teenage son I do tell him the <strong>ONLY </strong>sure fire way not to get a girl pregnant is Abstinence. I then tell him if you do choose to have sex then birth control is a must but it is not effective 100% of the time.

Now if my son were to get a girl pregnant and have a child I would not change my stance that Abstinence is the <strong>ONLY</strong> sure fire way of not having a child. It actually proves the point. I don't believe it to be realistic to think teenagers will not have sex but as a parent we should try to dissaude them and teach them the merits of Abstinence.

With that being said <strong>IF</strong> I did beleive in Abstinence as the only way and then my son got a girl pregnant I think changing my view because my son got some one pregnant would be hypocritical.

I teach my kids tolerance, if my son decided to become a skin head could I no longer preach tolerance? Would there be outrage that my Son did not follow my example or listen to what I said?

<blockquote>The poor Republican Party just keeps losing at every turn</blockquote>

I think this is indicitive of why the republican party is hurting today. There would be outrage across the country if:

Letterman said

And during the 7th inning Obama's daughter was knocked up by Arod.

Michelle Obama went to Bloomingdales to update her slutty look.

Clear Media Bias and then people jump on Palin like she somehow diserves to have her child made fun of by Letterman. If it were me and he made a comment like that about my Daughter he better hope I never see him in public because I would knock his teeth out of his mouth. Anyone that doesn't feel the same shouldn't have kids.

Come on BLT if you really beleive that let me know and I will just block you because that is nonsense.

Any Political or Public person is open to the comics. Its called the first amendment as I recall. Also it was obvious to all of us that Dave`s joke was in reference to her 18 year old daughter who was "knocked up out of wedlock". If Palin didnt want her family exposed to the media. Then keep them out of the spotlight. Just the fact she has her "Panties in a Bunch" over this and lacks the skills to take the "High Road" just goes to show how insecure and ignorant this woman truly is. And to think for a moment she could have been a Heart Attack away from being President of the United States still makes me very afraid. And yes. I think she uses her sexuality like a slut personally. Her educational background is a joke. So she

overplays her sexuality to compensate.

I still break out in laughter when I see those interviews of her attempting to have meaningfull communication "one on one" with the media. Her 15 minutes of fame is in its death throws.

<blockquote>"Let me be as clear as possible," Obama said. "I think people's families are off-limits, and people's children are especially off-limits. This shouldn't be part of our politics. It has no relevance to Gov. Palin's performance as governor or her potential performance as a vice president."

Obama said reporters should "back off these kinds of stories" and noted that he was born to an 18-year-old mother.

</blockquote>

I think Obama would have been pissed if Letterman made those comments about his daugthers (if they were 18) or his wife.

Sure, who wouldn't be pissed.

But neither of his daughters were knocked up out of wedlock, as teens.

If you live your political life as a moralizer, as a large part of the gop and particularly Palin, do, then you are responsible for explaining why you moralizing is ineffective inside your own household.

Here is why I wrestle with that. I believe education is extemely important. If I were to run for political office I would expound the virtues of education.

My damn son is getting bad grades and we have tried almost everthing we can to get him to understand the importance of an education. He has no learning disabilites, we have tried almost everthing. He just hates homework and doesnt' do it. It is starting to turn around this year so there is light for us.

Even though I believe that education is important it has been somewhat ineffective at this point in my household.

We can guide our children we can not live their lives. Her daughter had sex, got pregnant it happens within this country every day. It happens if the parents preach abstinence or if they teach safe sex or if they teach both. Unfortunately sometimes hormones get the best of these kids and they don't fully think of the long term ramifications of their actions.

That is part of being young and stupid. It is not necessarily and indication that a parents beleif caused the kid to get pregnant.

Now don't forget Obama's mom was Knocked up with him out of wedlock too. I doubt jokes about Obama's mom in the same context would be considered funny.

Sarah Palin is/was/is a floozy.

Bristol Palin is/was/is a floozy.

Barry's momma might of been a floozy, but she's dead. If you GOP Flat Earther types want to make floozy jokes about dead people, be my guest.

Before I respond can you answer what makes/made Bristol and Sarah floozies?

So if a woman has premarital sex is she a floozy?

Does a woman have to get pregnant having premarital sex to be a floozy?

Once a woman has premarital sex will she always be a floozy.

If a woman got pregnant having premarital sex will she always be a floozy.

Is there a male equivelant to a Floozy? If so do the same standards apply.

I suppose you never had premarital sex.

<blockquote>If you GOP Flat Earther types </blockquote>

I don't think I qualify as a flat earth GOP type. I think that is a label that you have placed on anyone that disagrees with anything that is not Pro Democrat.
