"There's still a long way to go to reach the 15,000 ticket goal of the raffle but there's also a couple months left. May 14 is the deadline to enter for a BMW, June 19 for a vacation at six oceanfront resorts, July 9 for a year of free rent at The Park at the Irvine Spectrum Center and July 30 for the $700,000 home at 3000 The Plaza."

The tickets are $150 each.

Have any of you bought some? Why or why not?

I bought the raffle couple of times before.  It is expensive, but thought why not.  Won't do it this year.  Using the money towards the house.

It seems they have raised the stakes. Wasn't the grand prize house worth quite a bit less a couple years back? I think tickets cost less then too. (I'm thinking of the year that the female relative of one of the IPSF board members won the house. I think it was worth no more than $500k.)
