Recommendations are needed for

1] Furniture shopping for bedrooms. Good quality at reasonable prices!!! (if that is possible)

2] window treatment folks who would do shutters and drapes.

Thanks.

We have bought sofas at Living Spaces (http://www.livingspaces.com) which were okay. The quick delivery is nice and they have a decent selection and reasonable prices.

But, that being said, we bought our bedroom set at Comforts of Home in Irvine (http://www.wholesalehomefurniture.com/). It took a month to get (they build it per sale) but the quality was great and it did look like something you would get at Pottery Barn but for much less.

We bought our daughter's bed at Bergstrom's (http://www.bergstroms.com), it's really a baby/kids store but they have pretty good pricing on furniture for kids.

(Notice these are all in Irvine)

Normally I do not prefer Living Spaces only because what you see is what you get. Can not order in custom colors or fabrics, etc. Now in this economy, I prefer Living Spaces for that exact reason. I will no longer put down a deposit or full charge for something that I don't know I will get if they go belly up before they complete my order. Now I prefer "what you see is what you get" and get it fast!

Also known as "The Levitz Factor".

Yeah... we were a bit skittish when we ordered from Comforts of Home but they came through so we were okay.
