Lennar will debut five new neighborhoods in the Central Park West community of Irvine on May 22.

"Interest has been running extremely high for these homes, and the community is appealing to a broad spectrum of homebuyers with the introduction of these five new distinctive neighborhoods," said Jenny Masters, the Central Park West marketing manager at Lennar.

The units will feature a variety of flats, modern lofts and townhomes in different price ranges. There are six floor plans including The Maxfield's two-level lofts and town homes, and The Belevedere's four-story mid-rise flats with granite countertops and parking.

"We are offering buyers a master-plan community unlike any other in Orange County, with a convenient urban setting, an array of stylish floorplans and resort-like amenities," said Masters.

Already on the market are Lennar's Astoria high-rise units, which are priced from the low $400,000s and range from 1,119 to 3,007 square feet, with up to three bedrooms.

Central Park West encompasses 43 acres and is slated to include a total of six enclaves, with lofts, townhomes, flats and high-rise condominiums.

This should be interesting to see them salvage this project. So funny how Astoria pricing started in the upper 600K now back down to the 400K range.
that is santa ana schools. Defeat main purpose of living in Irvine
Either you are mistaken or people with kids like to live in high rise condos.

Santa Ana School District will kill the chance of any kiddies in the area. With Irvine and NP Mesa schools so close, you'd think the builder would have written a fat check to someone and get those boundaries moved.

Perhaps they could offer a 4 year tuition package to Mater Dei if you buy one of their homes.
i think the school district is a problem but families with small children probably isn't Lennar's target market. Loft living and flats sound more for artsy hipsters, baby boomers & foreign buyers who have children that live in Irvine or go to UCI.
And empty nesters.

This project seems antithetical to the 2010 Collection. Lennar seems to be targeting the anti-family OC demographic. All DINKs apply here.
