Just a heads-up so you guys don't get caught off-guard:
Heavy rains are expected starting Sunday and continuing through the week. Expected totals are 5 to 8 inches near the coast, and up to 20 or more inches on the coastal mountain slopes.

I usually don't pay much attention to the weather, since it rarely changes. But this sounds like it could be a years worth of rain being dumped on us in one week. Then again, some years it seems like we only get one week of rain. <!-- s
