Before some of you go away for the weekend, I thought I would give a small update on the site.
Talk Irvine was unintentionally launched in early December, right before the onslaught of busy holiday activities. Some of those who would normally surf the web on their lunch break at work, were busy gathering with family around the fireplace, not their computer. However, many of you still stuck around to contribute and our number of daily lurkers grew rapidly.
Thanks to everyone who has followed us over from Irvine Housing Blog and to the new visitors we may be seeing soon from external sites which have provided us mutual links. If you get a chance, take a moment to welcome these new users. It is because of them and because of you that our site activity has been kicked up a notch... yesterday alone we reached just over 6,000 page views.
Thanks again, everybody, and I hope you continue to enjoy this little corner of the web!
