Auction for fairgrounds open to the public

COSTA MESA Local residents can try to get a front-row seat to the live auction of the Orange County fairgrounds on Thursday. The state Department of General Services will conduct the auction at 10 a.m. in the administration building at the fairgrounds, 88 Fair Drive. The auction is open to the general public, although seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Craig Realty Group has just won the bid to buy the O.C. Fairgrounds, with an offer of $56.5 million.
