No more free Disneyland birthdays

[quote author="cameray"]Yes, it's sad. You can no longer get into Disneyland free on your birthday. That deal ended Dec. 31. But...

But you can volunteer for a day and get a day free.

Besides, the way to go is the annual pass!

Hey, I don't need to go to Disneyland, I can just hang out with you, vicstah and graph for a few hours...same thing ;D

I think I like Disneyland more as an adult than I did as a child. I only go every 5 years or so, on average. Went last year for my birthday and had a great, relaxing time. Not sure how the promotion impacted their profits, but they definitely made money off me. I would not have gone otherwise, and between the wife's ticket (discounted, no less), parking and lunch we still dropped over $100.

I'm more of a CA Adventure guy, but I did go to Dland last Friday night and stayed til close and it was still PACKED! Even at 10 30 (park closed at 11) the wait for Space Mountain was 65 minutes and Indiana Jones 55 minutes.

And I don't think the promotion hurt their profits too bad. From what I heard from a lot of people is they put their free bday ticket towards an annual pass that they otherwise would not have bought.
