NY Style Pizza in/near Irvine?

Heard from some friends that the Johnnie's Pizza chain at the Orchard Hills shopping center was good. I haven't been there, however, and can't speak from personal experience.
 
Having lived in both Manhattan and Queens for over 4 years, I'd have to say that New York's uppercrust pizza is the best (it's a small chain and I've only eaten at the Oak Creek establishment)

Great crust, excellent sauce, generous cheese and toppings - all sliced in big portions so you can fold the pie like a real New Yorker.

Peppinos probably comes in second...
 
NY's Upper Crust is pretty good.

For some reason, I used to always like Ray's Pizza near UCI but have no idea if they are there still there since they don't serve it at the Spectrum Edward's Cinema anymore.

I also like the Z Pizza off of Alton/Jeffrey in Woodbridge... doesn't really count as NY but is one of the better thin slice pizzas I've had.
