Irvine Pacific - change flooring after phase 3

Hello! Does anyone know how hard it is/or if its even possible, to change flooring after phase 3 passed for Irvine Pacific homes? We have a home at Bluffs in Portola Springs that is expected to be finished by September. My parents decided on a thicker pile carpet for their upstairs flooring at their design appointment a month ago but we want to change it to a lower pile carpet/hardwood so it doesn?t collect dust as much - to avoid dust allergies. Anyone have experience with this? Any advice?

It's unlikely that you could change now that the deadline has passed for so long. But you could always talk to Sheril and ask her to talk to design center and construction to see if it's already too late.

If worse comes to worst, you could always change it after close of escrow, but you would have wasted the cost of upgrade.
