I'm looking to purchase a kid's backyard playhouse.  Does anyone have experience or know any local sources & contractors?  I have a handyman but am trying to avoid having to mail order this from out of state.

Specifically, I want something around 8'x6' like the photo above, with a kid's door in front and adult sized door (and adult height interior) to the side.  When my kid out-grows the playhouse it can be repurposed for storage.

If anyone knows of a backyard wood storage shed that can be converted for the purpose, that would work as well.  However due to fruit trees in the backyard I'm unable to use most larger wood structures.  Something like 8' W (front) x 6' L or 6'-7' W x 8-10' L would fit.

Have you look at Costco? They do have some play structures and sheds as well. I bought my shed, right before the pandemic and lumbers crazy rocket. But been seeing lumber prices coming down. Mine is a 8x12. I am never happier as this open up my garage.

If you handy, you can do something like what the picture you post with some hacks of the shed from Costco. I paid about a thousands for my 8x12 and the price now double. Inflation😀
