Monasaba is a Yemani restaurant that opened recently in Stanton, near Park Ave. If you're wondering what's going on with Park Ave, the owner has multiple restaurants and he's been busy over at Manhattan Beach (https://www.slaysteakandfishhouse.com/), so Park Ave is low priority and still undergoing renovations.
At Monasaba the lamb is excellent and the chicken is tender with large serving portions. Don't be shocked at other diners eating with their fingers instead of forks. I recommend the lamb shanks w/rice here. The restaurant is located right off Beach Blvd next to a work-live multi-story condos/officetel complex "Capri" in Renaissance Plaza.
