School drop off getting creepy?
« on: January 13, 2022, 08:44:14 AM »
How’s everyone’s school drop off going?

Mine has steadily gone from notably light the first day back to down right creepy this week with the impossible to not notice lack of drop off or pick up traffic.

A friend’s high school kid reports 1/3rd of the kids are missing from every class.

Still busy as zoo. However, after drop off, on th way to work it is a breeze. I used to have some traffic on the way but right now it is zoom zoom.

Yes... attendance is down for us.

Traffic also lighter as more people are WFH or sick.

Yep definitely noticeable difference in the amount of kids during drop off and pick up. Also the school used to send individual notifications about COVID cases but now it is a daily digest that says "10 cases today" because I guess there were just too many. One class at my school has less than 10 kids in the room now.
