Austria: Fines and Prison Time for Unvaccinated

(1/5) > >>

PSForever:
Austria to fine approx. $2200 (2000 Euro) each time a person is stopped and found to be unvaccinated.  No interval limit on the fine and therefore, theoretically a person may be fined multiple times a day.  If a person refuses or cannot pay the fine, they will go to prison for 4 months and up to 1 year if they continue to fail to pay the fine.  Meanwhile, they will have to pay for their lodging (room and food) in prison (separated area).  This will eventually be applied to those who fail to receive their periodic boosters as the definition of "fully vaccinated" changes.
