Tesla Model Y: Selling
« on: September 23, 2021, 03:04:36 PM »
I am going to sell Model Y in next 2-3 weeks. I am waiting for Model S to be delivered, current estimate is 2-3 weeks.

If anyone is interested please PM me.

Model Y long range, mid night silver. This is only a month old, with approx. 1300 miles on it.

Have you tried getting quotes from:
Tesla
Carvana.com
Vroom.com
AutoNation.com
CarMax.com
Carbuyerusa.com

I wonder how they compare with selling Private Party

tesla might be an exception but those usually ding you pretty hard for nearly-new vehicles

Used vehicles cost more than new. You might have found a way to profit from this.

25% mark up from purchased price and it a steal.  :)

Sell 3rd party. I sold a few cars to Unique Autos before and they are a pretty good middle ground between these larger companies and private party. They take care of all the paperwork and pay you pretty well.

Be prepared with actual quotes and a dollar amount you're willing to sell for.

Why would someone pay 25% more for a used car lols.

Because new cars are marked up even more. https://www.torquenews.com/sites/default/files/images/rav4_prime_crop_mark_4vo0m.jpg

But in the case of Tesla, they didn't mark up the cars but you just have to wait 3-6 months for one. Some people need a car now.
