Painter Recs?
« on: September 09, 2021, 02:59:01 AM »
I’ve been shopping around and the cheapest I could find was $2200 to paint an 1100 sqft home with very normal/low ceilings.  Seems like much but my reference point this what I paid 10 years ago ($600 for 1800sqft).

That sounds about right today.  Call Martha at Xenak, I've used her a few times myself and have referred her to dozens of clients...

I think I had the bad luck of having a poor experience with Martha/Xenak. Definitely was not cheap, did not pay attention to detail, and left a mess. To her credit, she tried to make it better but after 2 weeks we just wanted to move on.

Cost should be around $1.25 per sq ft as a ball park estimate.  You can forget about the price you paid 10 years ago.
