Snackers rejoice! Costco to bring back free samples

They?ve had samples for a few months they just say ?take it home and try it?, to which I smile and nod, then walk down the aisle and eat it under my mask.  I?m not coming back to purchase if I like it at home. 

What does OCR say about eating the samples in-store with the mask protocols?  I?ve reached my article limit.
 
I got a sample to take home and ended up buying Tajin snack mix sight and taste unseen (I followed the rules). From a psychology / marketing perspective, the important thing is to give people free stuff so they feel obligated to buy.

Of course people like free stuff. But there might be many people that have not taken the vaccine or might possibly have covid take off their mask for a sample.
