.5% Buyer Agent Commission!

There is an agent notorious for $1 BAC in the SGV. Basically he doesn't care because he believes his listings will sell themselves or he can dual agent it.

IF anything, days to sell should be a variable in agent comp. In a market like this, when a home sells in 15-20 days of listing, the agents can quickly jump on the next deal and hence the comp should be relatively lower. They still make good money on volume. IN a slow market where it is going to be 60 days before txn close, presumably agents will be putting in more hours in the deal and shall be compensated more as such.
