Oh those are really nice homes. Can?t say I would be in those areas though. Too much of a commute for me

I visited Pacifica in SJC before way back during Phase 1-3. I don't know where they are in the sales process now but they had some large lots with ocean views. Some of the homes are huge too.

Huge because some of the layouts are their basic big home plans they used for Alta, hidden canyon, Yorba Linda, ect

Does anyone know much about Keystone DCS as a builder?  I am looking at their Fountain Valley / Santa Ana new construction but a bit wary as I've never heard of them.  Are they a reputable local builder?

No feedback
It looks on their website that they have completed other new construction and rental projects.

Yeah I saw their Brea / Huntington Beach new construction and they look good!  But can't find any other information about them online anywhere so was hoping people here may have some more info.  Thanks for the response!

I find that small builders like them are hit and miss from community to community. They just aren't to scale with needing to keep up their rep and quality assurance. I would say a smaller builder will have larger cracks for things to fall through. Just make sure you have your independent inspector for walk throughs.

Also, it comes with a warranty.

Thanks for the tips.  I actually got an option from them to purchase one of their plans but they won't work with any agents, I need to work directly with them.  Is that normal?  Any tips/recommendations?  Also I'm curious how competitive their home pricings are, they seem to be on the much higher side when looking at recent sales in Fountain Valley.

Thanks for the tip!  They do come with the standard warranties.

Of the two Keystone projects I have visited the builder did not use a marketing team. That may change given the price range of homes they're now building in. Those communities at the time were staffed with some pretty low quality newbie agents. Sales contracts were usually started very close to the end of the build cycle and upgrading was difficult. All this means is that engaging with the builder about your purchase as early as possible would be wise.

My .02c

Is there a compilation like this for Irvine?

As you note, New Home Source is not particularly current.

For users with MLS access there is BuildersUpdate which I believe is pretty updated.
