Even Nixon was welcomed in San Clemente and New Jersey at the time of his resignation. Yes, OC at the time was a deep red county, but along the coastline...? Not so much.

TBF...this is based upon a 1993 agreement between Trump and the other residents in the area to avoid full residence.  It is just being brought up now. 

While Nixon was polarizing...I would say Trump is in a level of his own.
