I tried MyFitnessPal and found it very frustrating.
I then tried Cronometer (https://cronometer.com/) and liked the free version enough to pay for it. I've been using it for a few months and have been pretty happy with it. I use it to track what I eat and have recently started to capture walking/jogging.
