Vastu Shastra

We've heard a lot about feng shui, but so far not much about an analogous science: Vastu Shastra.

Any practitioners in our midst, or thoughts/observations?

A big Vaastu rule that almost all South Indians follow: No house with a South facing entrance.
It is the direction of God of Death, and bad luck follows if your house opens to the South. A very common remedy to this problem is, people put the steps/ driveway to the house facing East.

East facing entrance is the best.
