Does anyone buy long-term care insurance?

Looking for recommendations.

I’ve heard some horror stories about LTI.  What if you pay this every month for 15yrs then all of a sudden your premiums double or triple and become unaffordable?  If you stop paying you forfeit all the past premiums with no benefits.

This has happened to a lot of retired seniors even if they were promised it would not.
