Increase in Rats?
« on: June 29, 2020, 06:46:51 PM »
Anyone else noticing an increase in rats? I'm seeing quite a few running around in Eastwood. Even saw one in my backyard the other day. Didn't notice any droppings or urine to indicate that they're nesting - so thankful for that. Maybe it's the new home construction going on towards the back?

There was actually a government warning issued a month or two ago.

Wild animals in urban area are getting more agitated and aggressive due to the lack of available food from food waste since restaurant are shut down/operate in limited capacity.

I put out mice/rat poison, found a dead rat just last week in the backyard.  Traps didn't work for me.
