Regular class A = 4.0
Honors class A = 5.0
AP class A = 6.0

So he probably got straight A's with a combination of honors and AP classes.
 
do colleges even care about someone having a 6.0 gpa? i would imagine once you get above 5.0 it doesn't even matter anymore.

it's like when you're wealthy, does having $100m change your life much versus having $50m?
