There isn't a chance in a million that any of you will get this.
I'll explain why after there have been some efforts made.

The test is restricted to the bottom picture only. Twenty-two views and not one comment.  Not at all surprising.  Tough test looking forward.  Elementary once reality is pointed out to you.

SOLUTION

You people would never get it.  Eight million National Geographic readers didn't. 

Look inside the red oval at the stalagmites on the floor. There are no corresponding stalagtites on the ceiling, as would be necessary to  form the stalagmites.  Then look inside the rectangle.  The mushroom-shaped feature has drips going UP!  This is proof that the picture was printed upside down. 

The next photo shows the picture turned right side up,

8,000,000 National Geographic readers didn't either!  It's very subtle but once you see it, you have a "D'oh" moment.
