Thinking about the fall school year an whether we will have one or be on distance learning.  I figure this is a close as I'm going to get to figure out what Vegas line would be.  Feel free to post your reasoning.
 
More wishful thinking on a normal start, but the schools will have to have a massive overhaul in infrastructure and teacher professional development if the state were to authorize distance learning during a new school year. This year is what it is, but it is unacceptable for a school board and state to not prepare teachers and students for successful distance learning in the future if they have time to plan between academic years.
 
South Korea will be one to keep an eye on.  Their school year starts in March (delayed until April, and now online to start) and runs until mid July.
 
C'mon NSR, at least put this in the Education forum. :)

This will all depend on what kind of medical advancements we make... treatments, anti-body tests, vaccines, etc.

Considering this could be a *seasonal* virus, we may never return back to a pre-corona society (as Dr. Fauci said).
