'A Year Ago I Was a Hero. Now I'm Treated Like Scum.'
Frontline workers are choosing to lose their jobs rather than get the vaccine. Why?
Quote
That’s because Pitts refuses to get vaccinated. “I’m only 21, I want to have a family in the next three years, and we don’t know the long-term side effects,” she tells me when I ask her why. Not only has Pitts become a pariah in her own family—she and her six-year-old sister are the only ones without the vaccine—but, with a wave of mandates being issued by federal and state officials, she faces termination if she doesn’t get her first shot by the end of this month.

Pitts is not alone. While vaccine mandates sweep the country, frontline workers who are refusing the shot are being recast as villains. And there are a lot of villains. According to the Covid States Project, 23% of healthcare workers are unvaccinated. About 40% of Ohio’s nursing home workers remain unvaccinated. In New York City, 9,000 municipal workers have been placed on unpaid leave, plus 12,000 more who have yet to get the vaccine, but are allowed to keep working while the city evaluates their exemption requests.

The same thing that won them praise last year—their willingness to keep working, enveloped by tons of other people—is now a liability for firefighters, healthcare workers and teachers whose unwillingness to play by the rules is seen as selfish and a public-health hazard.

Your point being?

It is a fact unvaccinated healthcare workers are a public-health hazard.

Also fact: The biggest cop killer in 2020 - COVID. Five times as many police officers died from COVID as from gunfire since the start of the pandemic.

As long as the 1% is safe. Its okay then.
Let me tell you this. They will not visit you in the hospital because you listened to their nonsense. gg

Yup, as long as they're safe, they don't care about the rest of the sheeps listening to them.

That is the problem they are having. People are seeing this. There is a thread on reddit regarding foxnews hypocrisy regarding the covid vaccine policy at its company and on air personalities.

Well that healthcare worker is a hero again….blocked nationally….

Louisiana federal judge blocks nationwide COVID vaccine mandate for health care workers

A Louisiana U.S. district judge blocked a federal COVID-19 vaccine mandate for health care workers Tuesday, issuing a nationwide injunction in another setback to President Joe Biden's effort to require wide segments of the population to be vaccinated.

The point is these people are reading and listening to misinformation about the vaccine. Science suggests that the vaccine is safe, but you have people on the far right spreading lies about the vaccine and politicize the vaccine and then turn around and saying that the Democrats are making the vaccine is a political issue.

People are waking up and realizing natural immunity is better than the vaccine. Great article below with many scientific citations.

Let me ask you a question: How stupid are you?

Do you know what "natural immunity" means? It means you've already caught COVID. How is it better than vaccine? Are you telling unvaccinated people who have not been infected with COVID to get "natural immunity" instead of vaccine? You Trumpers are such morons.

Listen to grandpa joe…I agree with him now…

More people will have died from COVID under Biden than Trump

According to Johns Hopkins University’s data on COVID-19 deaths, since Jan. 1, there have been approximately 353,000 deaths from the pandemic. This is about a thousand more COVID-19 deaths than in all of 2020.

That is to say, more people have died from COVID-19 under President Joe Biden than under former President Donald Trump.

There are some important details to take into account, however. Trump lacked the benefit of vaccinations until the last month of his presidency, whereas Biden had them from day one. Biden, on the other hand, has had to deal with the surge of the delta variant, which spread throughout the country, even among the vaccinated.

Then again, under Biden, the COVID-19 seven-day fatality rate in September was higher than last September.

I am just saying the vaccine mandate is stupid. People who have recovered from Covid may not need it. High risk groups like pregnant women may not want it to risk their new born. Kids under 12 are super low risk and may not need it. Truck drivers who are mostly alone probably don't need it. People who work from home don't need it.
By forcing it to everyone regardless of circumstances while trying to hide vaccine injuries any logical and sane person can see the nefarious intention behind it.

Doesn't matter..they basically just caved on Mandates...

According to a memo issued by the Biden administration, the “White House’s Office of Management and Budget is telling federal agencies they should hold off on suspending or firing federal workers for not complying with the vaccine mandate until after the holidays.” So for the sake of public perception that Biden is doing something, no matter how ineffective or unconstitutional, he can’t let go of it.

But from here, it sure looks like Biden’s temporary suspension could well become permanent.

Blame foxnews or governors that are against safety measures to prevent covid before you blame Biden regarding covid deaths. Vaccines are widely available for people in the US.
