The National Association of Realtors votes to ban ?pocket listings?

I read about that yesterday.  I've done a few pocket listings and honestly I'm fine either way.  Honestly, I prefer traditional listings as I've met many new buyers at open houses.  It'll be interesting if the NAR will make any changes to dual agency.
 
Pocket listings present a Fair Housing issue. This change was expected. PL's still will exist, rule or no rule. NAR,  like any "self governing" agency,  knows which of those two descriptors is more important than the other.

Regulation at some point may come through the CFPB or FTC. Until then? It's business as usual.
