Oh my, if any of your relatives ever give you a visa "gift card" by Greendot, burn it.
It's not a gift card, its a prepaid debit card with, IMO, one of the sleazious companies with which I've ever crossed path.
Too use it, you have to open the attached internet bank account. You immediately get hit with fees. The customer service is all virtual. You can't close the account and get a check sent. And when you want to close the account they'll keep telling you can't do it until every penny is spent. And every customer service interaction gives you different runaround answers.
