Yes.
It's a terrible situation and the breathless coverage is just putting more salt on a wound.
We've always had fires in SoCal. We've always had high winds. We've always had low humidity. So what do we learn from the coverage? Not much.
One improvement of note, Channel 7 had been overlaying maps and street names over some of their live video. That's very helpful for people wondering if their homes are on fire or not. Don't know if this is also done on the other channels.
