Pet Wastes - City fine?

Hi,

Does anyone know if Irvine has any specific rules around pet waste?  My neighbor's dog has decided to poop on my front lawn multiple times on a weekly basis.  I have already complained to the neighbor, and they keep apologizing but still happens on a weekly basis.

I'm wondering if this is something I can report to the Irvine City?  I'm hoping some sort of penalty can make my neighbors more diligent on picking up their dog's waste.

I think the only thing you can do is continually talk to them, do you have an HOA? Maybe they can do something about it.
