Boeing's deadly 737Max MCAS software made by $9/hr Indian coders

This is not uncommon, I work in aerospace but in not flight critical SW.  We outsource a lot to India, if you have a reliable vendor the work is usually good quality and they make themselves available 24/7, and usually stay in the office coding or debugging until 10p at night or later.

The code is always analyzed and regression tested in the US but I?d trust a lot of the code coming out of India over many of these lazy American millennial types I see in the office now.

The Boeing 737 Max MCAS is a badly implemented band-aid solution to save money.  The fault did not start with Indian subcontractors.

If you'd rather fly Airbus, over 20% of their R&D budget is spent on Indian contractors.

China's Cormac, Russia's UAC and Japan's Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation all buy off the shelf components from GE, Rockwell Collins, Honeywell, and United Technologies.  All these US suppliers outsource to India.  Honeywell was like the pioneer in outsourcing US aerospace jobs to India.
