Chirashizushi binge #1: Miyabi Uni (Torrance)
« on: May 06, 2019, 09:02:22 AM »
Recently I went to 3 different places for chirashi binge.  Here's the first one.  This place is famous for uni and uni pasta.  The chirashi here is, IMO, the highest quality of the three and ironically, not the most expensive either.  See "Miyabi Kaisen Donburi" ($39.50?) on their menu.

This place made me fall in love with Uni. I used to despise is, and find it too 'fishy'. I realized it's because I've never had good Uni before! I am in love with their food here. Their way of incorporating Uni into EVERYTHING (Uni ICE CREAM!) is phenomenal. Get a couple apps, a Uni premium pasta, a Chirashi bowl, some nice sake, and you're set.
