Homeless man on Lake Forest Dr between Laguna Altura and Hidden Canyon

One homeless white guy has been on Lake Forest Dr between Laguna Altura and Hidden Canyon for more than two weeks. That location doesn?t seem ideal. People drive by fast and there are few pedestrians that may give him money. I am surprised that Irvine police hasn?t chased him away yet.

 
I spoke to the irvine pd today about this situation.  They are trying to convince him to move to a shelter.  So rough for him to be out there day after day.
 
Irvine PD can no longer pick him up and move him to Santa Ana. A court in Iowa said you can not criminalize homelessness.
 
I think he?s unconsciously making a political statement.  He?s been staring down a hillside of giant homes .... many unoccupied with hundreds of spare bedrooms for the last two to three weeks.
 
It might be the ideal location. 

No homed people to file complaints with PD.
No shoppers to complain to the store to.have security to chase you away
No other homeless to directly harrass you or disturb you with their issues

Plus it's cooler over there than being north of the 5.

You mean colder right?  It is cooler in the summer and colder at all other times of the year.
