Kindergarten Cop is as racist as Birth of a Nation?!!! Seriously?!!!

Kindergarten Cop is CANCELED: Arnold Schwarzenegger's 1990 comedy is pulled from film festival for 'romanticizing over-policing children' and is compared to Birth Of A Nation

Kindergarten Cop was pulled from drive-in festival in Portland this week
Critics denounced it as 'celebrating the school-to-prison pipeline'
Compared the 1990 comedy to the explicitly racist 1915 film Birth Of A Nation
In place of Kindergarten Cop, a film celebrating late Rep. John Lewis will air

So Audi gets cancel threat and actually apologized for a picture of a kid eating a banana!!... this gets crazier every day.!!

Audi drops ‘suggestive’ ad featuring young girl amid backlash

The ad from the German carmaker carried the slogan “Let your heart beat faster — in every aspect” and featured the child with a banana in her hand and leaning on the grill of the red RS 4, BBC News reported.

The vehicle was being marketed as a family car with an emergency braking system — but some critics took issue on Twitter.

Or is the period just another hostile bump? ;D ;) >:D

Young people don’t trust anyone who uses this punctuation mark

Periods may be coming to a full stop.

While older texters may consider the period an innocent symbol that a sentence has ended, digital natives consider it a triggering form of aggression. The punctuation problem ignited over social media recently, with Gen Z and millennials agreeing that ending a sentence with a period is overly hostile and, worse yet, extremely uncool.

“Only old people or troubled souls put periods at the end of every sentence,” wrote digital culture journalist Victoria Turk in her book on digital etiquette, “Kill Reply All.”

The younger generations consider the act of sending a text a sufficient signifier of a complete thought, Turk wrote, making periods feel unnecessary and overly final.

Snowflakes eat their own...Irony has a sense of humor.... ;D >:D

'White silence is violence': Aggressive mob of white BLM protesters threaten and film white diners at DC restaurants and DEMAND they raise their fist and show solidarity with them.... or else
A group of Black Lives Matter protesters harassed sitting diners at several outdoor restaurants in Washington, D.C. on Monday night
The activists ordered diners to raise their fists as a sign of solidarity; those who didn't were heckled and verbally abused
Videos of the incidents sparked backlash on social media, with many describing the protesters as an 'aggressive mob'

The footage, taken by a Washington Post reporter shows the woman, identified as Lauren Victor, being shouted at by white protesters after she refuses to raise her fist.

Victor later told Washington Post reporter Kunkle that she felt that she was 'under attack'.

Ironically, Victor is a supporter of the Black Lives Matter movement and has participated in many marches, but didn't want to be 'coerced' into showing support.

'In the moment, it didn't feel right,' she stated.

'I wasn't actually frightened. I didn't think they'd do anything to me. I'm very much with them. I've been marching with them for weeks and weeks and weeks.'

Running out of contemporary racist targets?  Gotta go back a couple of hundred years to find someone to cancel?...Puleeeeeze!! >:D

How Beethoven’s 5th Symphony put the classism in classical music
To many, Beethoven’s most famous work is a symbol of exclusion and elitism in classical music.

Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony starts with an anguished opening theme — dun dun dun DUNNNN — and ends with a glorious, major-key melody. Since its 1808 premiere, audiences have interpreted that progression from struggle to victory as a metaphor for Beethoven’s personal resilience in the face of his oncoming deafness.

Or rather, that’s long been the popular read among wealthy white men who embraced Beethoven and turned his symphony into a symbol of their superiority and importance. For others — women, LGBTQ+ people, people of color — Beethoven’s symphony may be predominantly a reminder of classical music’s history of exclusion and elitism. One New York City classical music fan wrote in the 1840s, for example, that he wished that “all women shall be gagged by officers duly licensed for the purpose before they’re allowed to enter a concert room.”

Today, some aspects of classical culture are still about policing who’s in and who’s out, and much of it started with Beethoven’s Fifth. When you walk into a standard concert hall, there’s an established set of conventions and etiquette (“don’t cough!”; “don’t cheer!”; “dress appropriately!”) that’s more about demonstrating belonging than appreciating the music.

I don't see anything wrong with this.  Perhaps Audi is trying to appeal to pedophiles?  Kind of strange to have a random kid eating a banana in front of the car but it's cute.

Perhaps we should ban social media in the US. It is clear that our populations is filled with a bunch of idiots that need to be saved from themselves.   Every time I see these stories where people get outraged over something it continues to support my believe that over 90% of the population are complete morons.

Now a dark emoji can get you fired... ;D ;D ;D

US cyclist is suspended by team for using 'internet blackface' emoji to respond to journalist who tweeted that Trump supporters should unfollow her
US cyclist Quinn Simmons, 19, was suspended by the Trek-Segafredo team after posting antagonistic comments on social media in support of Donald Trump
The 2019 junior road race world champion replied to a journalist from the Netherlands who had criticized Trump on Twitter by using a 'black hand' emoji
Dutch journalist José Been tweeted that she hoped 'this horrible presidency ends,' adding 'if you follow me and support Trump, you can go'
Simmons replied by writing 'Bye' with an emoji of a dark-skinned hand waving
When someone replied 'Apparently a Trumper,' Simmons countered 'That's right'
His team, Trek-Segafredo, said that he 'made statements online that we feel are divisive, incendiary, and detrimental to the team, professional cycling, its fans...'
Simmons will be off the team 'until further notice,' according to the statement
Joe Papp, an anti-doping advocate and author, accused Simmons of engaging in 'internet blackface' for his use a dark-skinned hand emoji on Twitter
