Cauldron Ice Cream brings its Puffle cone, Fluffypuff sandwich to Irvine

Had it a couple times in Santa Ana, mostly meh.  Don?t remember them using liquid nitrogen ice cream though, I wonder if that?s new.  Maybe I?ll give it another go.

It use to take a long time to make the ice cream due to one per order.
Lines were really long.
Then they started pre-making it so they could deliver it faster.

I hardly go anymore.

I've gone a few times since the soft opening a few weeks ago.  Ice cream is pretty good (not too sweet).  Lots of unique "hipster" type of flavors available.  Only problem is the price and the amount of time it takes to "make" the ice cream.  Kids love watching the nitrogen go in and the amount of smoke that gets generated.  Probably a once a month type of place for me.  I do miss Baskin 31 though...
