Middle and high schools in Irvine: private or public
« on: September 20, 2018, 10:46:47 AM »
We are moving to OC in summer, and desperately need help as it is all so confusing and overwhelming, especially in terms of schools. We have to find 2 very different schools for our 2 very different sons. We have a 13 year old who will need a small high school where he can get individual attention as he struggles with ADD. Then there is our 10 year old who is currently in Mandarin Immersion Magnet school Gifted Talented program. We are trying to find a middle school for highly gifted kids for him, and hopefully also an after school/weekend Mandarin program. We will rent for a year to try and get to know the areas, so we will start with school selections first.

I have been searching online which has been very confusing. Any information and recommendation is very much appreciated. We are open to private or public schools for one of both of the boys.

Thank you very much for the help.

Thank you!

Do you have a particular budget for private school? There is a whole range of schools in the Irvine area from 15k to 30k+.

Does your son just need a smaller setting or will he need special services?

Feel free to send me a message if you need more information.

Thanks!
