After School Activities/Programs for Kindergartener

My son just started kindergarten.  We're looking for suggestions for after-school programs as the on-campus option has a waitlist. 

He'll be attending an after-school Chinese school three days a week so we're looking for something for the other two days.  It could be art, music, sports, robots, etc.  The key criteria is that they can watch him the entire afternoon (~3:30-6pm).  There's a ton of programs/classes in Irvine that are 30-60 min long, but those won't work for us as both parents work.

Does anyone have suggestions?  Thanks!

It depends on which elementary school you're at. Sometimes, nearby centers will actually pick up kids at dismissal time and bring them to their center. For example, Northpark has a Kindercare nearby that will pick up the kids from Hicks Canyon Elementary and bring them over.

You could also try hiring an afterschool nanny for the days of the week you need.

Thanks, we'll look into that.  Also came across Lyceum Village in Tustin.  Does anyone have any experience with them?

Also open to other suggestions as we'll be looking into the different options over the next few weeks.
