what are the best programs around town for summer time and during school year?

Age isn't as important as your child's capabilities and experience.  How is capable his/her coding, logic and problem solving?  Are they team oriented or solo work?  Which robotic or coding classes or camps have they done in the past? 

You might be able to find something but IMHO, you're five if not more months behind the power curve on planning.

IDTech at UCI runs a camp. It's pricey but good. I think they only have 2 courses with room left this summer:
