What kind of rims were they to risk this out in the open like that?

Are upgraded wheels such as rims considered as status symbols?  ;)

Absolutely. I've seen $20,000 rims on a $2,000 car.

Irvine is comatose by 10PM. Not like LA. Too easy to jack rims.

On a car like that with a floor jack and bricks, I can remove all four wheels in under 8 minutes. 1 minute per wheel, 30 seconds to carefully lower on each brick.

Also if anyone comes over, you just pretend like it's your car.

You think I go around jacking rims? I got more "status" than that.

So I guess this means the Irvine Springs / Streamwood condos are in BTB's Nextdoor EW proximity "nearby neighborhoods" map.

Did they leave the catalytic converter? That was a chronic problem at my work parking lot.

I also hear unused airbags are popular to steal.
