Any recommendations for colon cancer treatment?
What hospital, doctor do you recommend?
Any doctors or hospitals to avoid?
Thank you :)

Sorry to hear this is something you are researching.

As a non-medical professional here's my take having thought about it a bit.  Being cynical, I'd look at Cancer Treatment Centers of America.  Not because they're good, but because everything I've seen seems to say what they're actually really good at is screaning patients for high probability of success.  I've heard they're notorious for not taking difficult cases that might smudge their success numbers.

I would do that to get a second opinion of the seriousness of my case and how good of an expert I need because getting access to the care is becoming the biggest issue.

Evidence is clear that outcomes are better at National Cancer Institute designated comprehensive cancer centers.  UCI, City of Hope, UCLA, UCSD around SoCal.

If you want pampering, go to CCA of Hoag, if you want a higher likelihood of good outcome, go to one of those.

Regardless of where you initially go, get a second opinion for major treatment decisions e.g surgery, chemo, XRT.
