Your chance to vote WINEX off the island!

We obviously disagree about just about everything but the world would be pretty boring if we all agreed. I know deep down inside there is a very decent person there somewhere and I think you know that the people here are also very decent. Let's all treat each other that way.
Are you really not capable of staying and softening your, um, "edge"?
Good question and thank you for asking.

The fact is that we have a moderator running around right now who felt it necessary to warn me publicly for an imaginary TOS violation. Apparently I am allowed to speak freely as long as I spread a liberal message.

With conditions like that, you can either have me as is or not at all.

Please vote accordingly.

If you have an issue with the TOS, then best to take it up with the owner the board who chose the site with the restrictive TOS. Last thing I want is for all of us to suddenly be homeless again.

No one is requiring you to "spread the liberal message." In fact, there are other posters who spread a conservative message, and manage to do so without violating the TOS. I'm sure you can figure out how to as well.

If you feel that I am running amok, feel free to take it up with the owner.

I'd rather not have to go that route. The court of public opinion seems like a better route. The facts are there for everyone to see. And whether or not any forum member agrees with my opinion on any particular issue, the fact that a moderator is running around making up TOS violations should be enough to concern us all.

Edit: I just saw your post in the other thread. Given that my imaginary TOS violation was based on what you felt about my private thoughts, I don't see how I could possibly avoid future imaginary TOS violations.

It's a vast left wing conspiracy! If you could participate and voice your views without verbally abusing those that don't agree with you and just treat people with respect in general, you'd be able to add value.
Winex stays!!!!!!
Thank you JWonderGem.

I hate to sound ungrateful, but given that you just registered today and have a grand total of 1 post, it's hard to read too much into any support. Did you post at IHB under a different name?

Unfortunately, it looks like your presence may cause others to leave. I don't know where all of the hate comes from and I'm hoping that you figure it out. It's just so ugly.
i don't know if yes means stay or go?

I say stay.
The question is whether I should leave.

Therefore, a "YES" vote is a vote for me to leave.

One of the problems with this method of communication is the simple fact that a lot of the message is lost. There is no body language or verbal intonation to help decipher true intent.

And in certain cases, the natural barriers to communication are increased further because time spent "on the forum" isn't dedicated time. When you combine modern life, technology, and a hectic schedule, you are only getting a slice of my time.

So with that out of the way, I am not sure if you are asking about hate that you perceive to be within me, or if you are talking about animosity from others towards me.

If it is the former, then I believe that miscommunication is at play here. You'll just have to trust me on this one, but I am a very happy person.

If it's the latter, then I am afraid that I am at a loss as well. This poll/thread was inspired by a post to me from a moderator about a violation of TOS here. Ostensibly I am spreading hate speech because I mentioned that I don't think someone with a history of running seminars teaching the joys of fisting to high school students should be in charge of a federal office that is supposed to protect students.

This poll is designed to see if the rest of the community agrees with a moderator who apparently has personal issues that need dealing with.

Nothing more, nothing less.

If I am a burden to this community, then I will leave. If not, then I'll assume that a small but vocal minority of the community have problems that they need to address.

I don't know if you will recall some of my posts on this topic from the other forum, but I came from a very rough background. I am a high school dropout, but also have an MBA. There are a few people here who know the kinds of things I work on, and while I don't feel like discussing them publicly, I don't mind telling you that I develop the kind of systems that you see on the Discovery channel. I've got a life that most people love to have.

For the record, here is my imaginary TOS violation:

Trooper, you neglected to mention other recent LGBT news.

Don't forget about "Safe Schools Czar" Keith Jennings being a keynote speaker at the youth conference at Tufts University that promoted "fisting" at the "youth-only age 14-21" conference.

Ok, so you are a happy person. I did not come from an "easy" background either, but that's an entirely different story. Why is it that you decide to make others unhappy, especially those who live a lifestyle that you have decided is immoral. No one in the thread you are referencing decided to bring up sexually divisive issues other than you. The topic wasn't about sex to start with. I think I've asked before but you keep coming back to your one sided completely off the wall topic, so here I go again, why are you so threatened by homosexuals? I understand if you just want to distance yourself from the topic and let others have their say, but you continually try to antagonize. These are real human beings, they live real lives and they are also happy despite the fact that they have been denied some basic rights. You really have never explained why you are so completely opposed to people who are just living their lives. I guess I will repeat again, but there are plenty of examples of conservative, Republican individuals that have proven to have their own weird sexual fetishes which involve a consistently display of infidelity and depravity but no one seems to spend much time discussing those things in every thread about anything political. Give me a break, just say you hate homosexuals and be done with it.

I don't believe that Kevin Jennings is "just living his own life". Based on youth conferences teaching the joys of fisting, and passing out guides to leather bars in Massachusetts, I believe that he is actively trying to recruit people into a deviant lifestyle.

That would be bad enough in and of itself. But when he is made the "Czar" of Safe Schools, it is a case of putting the fox in charge of guarding the hen house.

Our children need to be protected from the Kevin Jennings of the world. Pretending like he is protecting them is a sick joke.

And here you have it folks, a real live version of what I have to deal with on a daily basis. Winex, I have no intention on debating you because you are so out there, there is nothing I can say to change anything. I enjoyed the ability to "block" you on the other blog. Mods, can we create that feature?
