Irvine Habana restaurant offers the best of Cuba at the Spectrum

Awesome! I love the original Habana location and look forward to checking this one out! It's great that they added the 'to go' bakery and caf?!

Habanas dark candle lit decor is romantic and draws people to the place.
They don't have to up their food game cause mediocre food is already packing the house.

Perhaps one should think of it more as a lounge then a restaurant.

Just go to Taco Bell and buy the $5 combo deal.

I?m cheap and I know it!  ;)

Taco Bell isn't even Mexican food, much less Cuban.

A Cuban fast food place would be called Mojo Bell or Del Empanadas.

Agreed. Went for date night after our first two choices at the spectrum had long waits. Mediocre at best.

Paging IHO... $10 off buffet

Habana launches brunch

The buffet is similar to the one served at Costa Mesa with a few more options at each station, Executive Chef Alex Moreno said during a preview last week.

The buffet spread, which cost $38 per person, includes seafood, charcuterie, carving stations (including lechon, or roasted piglet) and pastries. The assortment of fresh-baked goods is from the restaurant?s cafe, a mini Cuban bakery inspired by famed Los Angeles bakery Porto?s.

The weekly buffet is held Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. For a limited time, Habana is offering $10 off the buffet.

Bleh. Went for dinner.... way overpriced for the food quality/quantity.

Their rice seemed stale, not Cuban.

Then went to Bella Cuba... half the price, at least twice the flavor.

Not sure I want to try the brunch buffet at Havana.
