Went to visit a friend in downtown and she took me to Century City Mall to eat at "Rock Sugar" restaurant, which is owned by the Cheesecake Factory franchise.
The faux Asian theme decor was indeed impressive, but I think their menu is a little confused on what is Malaysian food (LoL). Being pre-diabetic I ordered mostly veggie dishes (eggplant, cauliflower, brussels sprouts) and thought they were OK. "Nyonya Sambal Eggplant" (Sambal Terung) was fairly well done. Great place to take a date -- don't stare at the hottie receptionist in front of your Wife/GF. Reasonable prices, considering its location.
