subleasing in Irvine compamny apt

Looking to sublease for a shortwhile from an acquaintence. Do i need to add my name to the lease, il be there for 3 months and gone, lease end 2 months after, i do not want to be entangled in any drama after that.
Will i get my mails and packages delivered correctly irrespective of me in lease

Double check your friend's lease agreement. I'm pretty sure it says you are NOT allowed to sublease an IAC apartment. At least not without express permission from the company. Good luck.
