Screens for Bi-Fold Doors
« on: July 10, 2017, 02:04:17 PM »
With so many Irvine homes now have bi-fold doors, is there a company that can put retractable screens on them?

I would hate to have flies and mosquitoes keep coming into the house.

They have screens for those now. My sister in law has bifold doors (they fold to the outside) so the screen is on the inside of the house.

I am currently installing screens on my double French Doors through OC Quality Home Products.
Check out their Vista View Retractable screens for bi-fold doors.

Thanks for sharing your contact Goriot. Let us know how you like them once installed. I need screens for 2 french doors and the large bifold doors into the california room.
Mind sharing the cost for screens for the french doors? Thanks

Aqua, looks good.  For CA room, if the doors fold outward, they will have to install them inside.  Did your neighbor happen to use them for CA room?  Any idea costs?

Hmmm not sure on that one (inside would not look good)!  My neighbor used them for a sliding pocket door (large slider), no folding doors.

Anyone have opinions on the different brands?
- Phantom
- Clearview
- Mirage
- Stowaway

https://www.screenmobile.com/Our-Products/Screen-Doors/Retractable-Screens

Also what's the standard going rate for doing double french doors? How about a single french door, have some that lead to the balcony.

Seems the most popular installers are:
- Screenmobile
- OC Quality Home Products
- EJs Home Improvements

Any others people liked/used?

Thanks!

I am looking to do the same thing for a double french door also. The Vista screen looks very nice. Can you pm the price also? Is your door 96" tall?

Thanks

I have not found an installer who can make screens for the front door.  My front door has an arch at the top.  Anyone find a vendor?
